Kairos Network
Collective power starts with conversations that share deep concerns, convictions and ideas for action.
Kairos actively supports ecumenical local and regional groups working on reconciliation and systems change.
We build collective power by leading and working alongside ecumenical and civil society coalitions in Canada and around the world. Together, we strengthen advocacy, amplify diverse voices and advance systemic change.
Our partners include For the Love of Creation, Churches Witnessing with Migrants, The Canadian Council of Churches, World Council of Churches, Cooperation Canada, Climate Action Network Canada, Canadian Network for Corporate Accountability, and Women, Peace and Security Network.
The People Power that Kairos builds is an intricate web of relationships and collaborations. Relationships are built through delegations, coalitions, planning teams and more. The Kairos Network is a set of relationships specifically supporting the work that Kairos does – systems change and centering reconciliation.
Five Regions
Kairos organizes in these regions:

Local Contacts
Individuals who commit to represent Kairos locally. They circulate Kairos information within their municipality, welcome people new to Kairos and assist staff by hosting events or visitors.
Local Groups
Each local Kairos group operates by location and is ongoing, living out the collective call to “do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly” by taking action on justice causes. Most groups are ecumenical, some with interfaith members or partners, and often work with local partners.
Local or Regional Issue-based Groups
Groups of any size or location that address a specific piece of justice work. They may be short-term, supporting a particular campaign, or long-term, focused on an issue that requires ongoing justice work such as reconciliation and/or climate action.
Regional Coordinating Committees
these committees support volunteers and groups in their region by mentoring leadership, fostering communication across the region and facilitating regular gatherings.
